Couldn’t connect to the workspace

Unable to connect Microsoft Sentinel Workspace to Microsoft 365 Security Portal

When we connect to the Microsoft SIEM solution of Microsoft Sentinel to XDR in the Microsoft Security Portal by clicking Connect to workspace

It is shown with the following error message

Solution

Before we get a Microsoft Sentinel Workspace connection, we need to install Microsoft Defender XDR Data Connector

Log on to https://portal.azure.com and go to Microsoft Sentinel –> Content Management –> Content hub

Search for Microsoft Defender XDR Data connector

Click on Install

Once Data Connector is installed, click on Connect

 It will get connected without any issues
